The main purpose behind "Project Harmony" is to develop the game of Gaelic Football around the region of Singapore. Project Harmony aims to set up Gaelic Football activities within both International and Local schools. The game has been successfully implemented into the Physical Educational curriculum in Anderson Secondary School, St Pats and UWCSEA East. Through this, Project Harmony introduces Irish culture to the students and teachers through Gaelic Games.
Along with setting up games on the school grounds, competitions such as the Asian Youth Championships and the Presidents Cup invite the participating schools to enjoy a day of fun, friendly competitive matches where the students can express their skills.
In October of 2019, 80 local Singaporean students from Anderson Secondary and Ping Yi Secondary schools participated in the Asian Youth Championships held here in Singapore. A minimum of 1500 students will benefit from this Project and this number hopes to increase in 2020.
